Some weeks ago I gave a presentation for the local association Smålands Gille in Eskilstuna. It was pleasant to talk about my passion; photography, and get so warmly responds afterwards. Thanks to all of you that came! A short reference ( in Swedish).

Eagle hide visit again - always a tension. One golden eagle and at least(!) 8 white tailed eagles showed up today, enjoyable and pleasant day! The logo is clickable, if you want to explore which hides and guiding tours that they offers, check it out!
Supporting eco tourism is also important to show society and politicians there are more values in forests and natural ecosystems, than fast money on timbering for an example.
First event for me with Naturfotograferna this weekend!
Started off with mingle at the /N exhibition during Friday. As a part of the association celebrates 50 years anniversary the exhibition takes place at the new opened Naturfotografiska in Hallstahammar. It includes 84 prints from the same numbers of photographers, recommend it for all of you in the area.
Further on there were interesting lectures, plus the nice food and great company.
The newly elected members included me, Viktor Sundberg, Josefin Nilsson and Jonathan Stenvall held shorter presentations for the other members.
One of the weekend highlights was the lecture of the American photographer Mike Olbinski, with his images of extreme weather and dramatic time lapses of storms.
Last day we visited the nature reserve Hälleskogsbrännan, this place has since the forest fire in 2014 create new opportunities for wildlife and plants, and I must admit also for nature photographers :)
Visited Birdsafari Sweden's black grouse-hide this weekend, with my family. Very nice session!
Black grouse - Orre - (Tetrao tetrix)
Both pygmy owl and many spring arrivals was heard during the evening/night/morning. Other nice birds was for example redwings(rödvingetrast) heading north during the night against the starry sky. In the morning, besides the black grouse, we had displaying common snipes(enkelbeckasin), golden plovers(ljungpipare), red-throated diver(smålom, dunnocks(järnsparv), ospreys(fiskgjuse) etc.

I have been asked to showcase 10 of my images at the Swedish natural history museums Instagram account. That should include images that shows what happens in our nature right now, not an easy task find images that is matching with the time of the year in the meantime. But will do my best! Check it out if interested, https://www.instagram.com/naturhistoriska/

End of summer, and I have finally brought up a new gallery with Collections. The idea is to have the portfolio for a quicker look, and if you wanna go deeper there will be collections that each of them keeps a theme, a red line through the images.
One of those collection filled with images from the recent photo expedition into Sarek Nationalpark, with the surroundings of Laponia. The trip was really nice and had great company of Anton Lilja and Jesper Andersson. During this autumn I will write a longer post about the expedition at Lundhags website, including some "behind the scenes". Sounds exciting right? I would like to once again give many thanks to our sponsors of this expedition; Addnature, Lundhags and Meindl.
Enjoy the new gallery!
I'm glad to have been selected into "Rising Stars in the World of Wildlife Photography" by Nature TTL.
"Edwin is a 17-year-old photographer from Sweden. A finalist in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014 competition, he takes photographs with a definite unique style – especially when it comes to experimenting with lighting. "
Spontaneous but successful photo trip at the archipelago of Torö, with Jonathan Stenvall.
